Mark and Christina review season 6, episode 3 of “Road to Avonlea.” In the second installment of the tuberculosis (TB) trilogy, we are introduced to a whole new Cecily or – as Mark says – Sicily! We follow Cecily’s time at Thornhill sanitarium and her encounter with the newsies from Brooklyn. We also discuss the treatment of the patients, more background on TB, and the insane amount of potatoes that need to be peeled in preparation for a single mealtime.
