Mark and Christina review Season 5, episode 9 of “Road to Avonlea.” In the first episode of the tuberculosis trilogy, we discuss Cecily’s diagnosis and her family’s response along with a bit about the history of the disease. We are also introduced to a woman doctor (GASP!), Alec’s singing, and the show’s snow budget! For those of you who are acquainted with Anne of Green Gables, we see two familiar faces – Mrs. Rachel Lynde and Miss Muriel Stacey.
