After fifty years of being stored in the King farm attic, Aunt Arabella’s chest can finally be opened. The family is greatly disappointed after finding nothing but an old clock and a wedding dress inside, but Sara is certain there is more to the chest. After her persistence, Sara stumbles upon the mystery behind Aunt Arabella and her fiancé. Meanwhile, Olivia gains some independence through her job at the Avonlea District Chronicle newspaper and asks Jasper Dale to take photographs to accompany her articles.
